Manchester United knocked out of the FA Cup

Itahari : Manchester United have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Middlesbrough after losing 8-7 on penalty shootout at Old Trafford. 

United were awarded a penalty on 20th minute of the game but Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to convert it.  

Jadon Sancho scored the opener for Manchester United on 25th minute of the game which was canceled out by Matt Crooks on 64th minute. The game ended 1-1 in normal time. 

There was no separating the sides even in extra-time and United were the clear favourites in the shootout. However, the visitors were clinical in their efforts, scoring all eight kicks while Anthony Elanga missed the decisive penalty for Manchester United. 

Middlesbrough now go into the Round of 16 of the FA Cup.
