REAL MADRID STILL FIGHTING FOR LALIGA TITLE

Itahari, A dominant display by Real Madrid against Granada on Thursday night showed they are still challenging Atletico Madrid for the Laliga title.

Madrid opened the scoring on the 16^th minutes of the game with a strike from Luka Modric. They doubled the lead on the first half stoppage time with a superb run and brilliant strike from Rodrygo, finishing first half with 2-0 scoreline.

Granada had no answer to a dominant Los Blancos side. After pulling one back in the 70^th minutes of the second half courtesy of Molina's goal, things were looking bright for the home side but quick goals by Odriozola on 74^th minutes and Benzema on 75^th minutes put the game to bed.

The game ended with a scoreline of 4-1 to Real Madrid where both teams made five changes with Madrid trying to keep their players fit for the remaining two games whereas Granada in search for something magical to happen on the pitch.

With this result, Real Madrid has moved to second place with 78 points, only two points behind league leader and city rival Atletico Madrid. Only two games remaining with Atletico looking like a possible winner for the league but Real Madrid are not giving up without a fight.
