MANCHESTER UNITED AND VILLAREAL TO PLAY IN UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL

Itahari, Manchester United are through to their first final under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with Edinson Cavani scoring twice in a second-leg defeat to Roma that could not deny them a place in the Europa League showpiece.

Having fallen at the semi-final stage on four occasions across the last two seasons, the Red Devils made it fifth time lucky to set-up a shot at glory against Villarreal in Poland on May 26.

Manchester United had taken a massive lead on the 1^st leg of the UEL semi-final with the scoreline of 6-2, seems like cruising to the glory but Roma were not going down without a fight. Although Roma won the second leg with 3-2, Red Devils won on aggregate with 8-5 scoreline.

In another semi-final, Spanish side Villareal got the better of English side Arsenal and booked themselves a place into the final against the Red Devils.  Needing a goal to make the Spaniards sweat, the Gunners produced a horribly limp performance from start to finish. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did hit the post in either half but were unable to score a single goal.

This will be Unai Emery's 5th Europa League final. He has won the competition three times (2014, 2015, and 2016) with Sevilla. He is current manager of Villareal and former manager of Arsenal.
