Itahari, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City creates a history by booking a place into the Champions league final for the first time.

Manchester City defeated Paris Saint-German (PSG) 4-1 on aggregate in the second leg of Champions league semi-final. 2 goals from Riyad Mahrez were enough to seal the victory for the Sky Blues.

Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring on the 10^th minute of the game converting the rebound into a goal to make the scoreline 1-0 (3-1 on Aggregate).  A sublime pass from Phil Foden across the face of the goal on 62^nd minute and Mahrez coming in from the right, roofs home from six yards to ensure City’s victory.

6 yellow cards and 1 red card were shown in the game as the game was heated up from the very beginning. PSG’s Angel Di Maria received a direct red card on 68^th minute of the game as he deliberately stepped foot on Fernandinho. PSG were able to maintain the possession throughout the game but were unable to register a single shot on target.

Riyad Mahrez after the game said, “It was a very good game. We didn’t start good again. We didn’t have a very good first half but we scored the goal. In the second half we played very good and could have scored more. They lost their nerves and started kicking us. After the red card it was more comfortable for us. We were good in the counter, and that’s how the two goals were. It is something we work on all the time, and today it worked well. Everyone had to contribute defensively, and that’s what we did. We didn’t concede much, and now we’re in the final. We have a game on Saturday we have to win to be champions, and then we can concentrate on the final. Ah, finally!”

With this win over PSG, Manchester City has reached their first Champions League final and any European Finals in 51 long years. They will face the winner of tomorrow's game between Chelsea and Real Madrid in the final.
