IMPROVEMENT FOR NEPAL IN ICC- ODI & T20 RANKING

Itahari, Following the latest annual update of International Cricket Council (ICC), Nepal has moved up to 16^th place in One Day International (ODI) ranking and 13^th place in T20I ranking. Nepal has jumped one step up in both ODI & T20I ranking. Previously they were on 17^th and 14^th position in ODI & T20I respectively.

With this latest update, Nepal is on the top in T20I ranking among the associate nations. Recently Nepal won the T20 Tri-series being held in Nepal with the participation of Netherland and Malaysia. Among the associate nations, Scotland are on 14^th position followed by UAE on 15^th, PNG on 16^th and Netherland on 17^th position according to latest T20I ranking.

New Zealand have moved to the summit of the ICC Men’s ODI team rankings. Australia has also climbed two positions to second, with India sliding to third and England slipping from top spot all the way down to the fourth place.

On the T20I side, England remains on the top spot with India following them on second place. New Zealand have improved their ranking in T20I as well climbing from fifth to third whereas Australia fell from third to fifth place.

The test rankings will be updated after the conclusion of the ongoing Pakistan vs Zimbabwe series, ICC mentioned.
