JOS BUTTLER BLISTERING CENTURY SECURED A DOMINANT 55-RUN WIN OVER SRH

Jos Buttler celebrates his maiden T20 century

Itahari, Rajasthan Royals (RR) has registered their 3^rd victory in the IPL 2021 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first. This plan totally went against their way as Rajasthan Royals put a huge score of 220 runs for the SRH to chase. RR lost only 3 wickets to put 220 runs on board in 20 overs. Jos Buttler scored 124 runs off 64 deliveries whereas Captain and wicketkeeper-Sanju Samson quickly fired 48 runs off 33 deliveries. For SRH, Sandeep Sharma, Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar all took 1 wicket each but that wasn’t enough to stop RR from setting a massive target.

SRH made a decent start on run chase by scoring 57 runs in powerplay without losing a wicket, but the party didn’t stay long as Manish Pandey was clean bowled by Mustafizur on 7^th over. After that, wickets keep on falling and SRH were only able to score 165 runs of 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Mustafizur Rahman and Chris Morris took 3 wickets each which handed RR a 55 runs win over SRH.

With this result, RR has moved up to 5^th place with 6 points out of 7 games whereas SRH are on 8^th place with only 2 points out of 7 games.
